Her mother was 19 at the time of Joseph's birth, and her father had died three months earlier. Joseph was born in Los Angeles County, California.

She is best known for her role as Jackie Parker on The Doris Day Show (1971–1973) and Audrey in The Little Shop of Horrors (1960), as well as a supporting role in Gremlins (1984). Jackie Joseph (born November 7, 1933) is an American actress and writer.
